Vulcanus Quests Walkthrough
Requirements:
Things worth noting:
A Vulcanus shrine The lair of Vulcanus is a unique dungeon that can be accessed at level 30 or higher, but can only be entered alone. To enter, you must collect Vulcanus Souls and take them to a Shrine of Vulcanus, where you can use them to enter his molten prison. Once inside, you must face waves of Vulcanus's fiery minions, then descend further into the prison with more imprisoned Souls. Only after defeating all of Vulcanus's minions will you face Vulcanus himself.
Shrines of Vulcanus are spread across the whole Rappelzian world!
To enter these shrines, you will need to offer the altar some Vulcanus souls.
These souls are sold by Noblewomen in each town for a small price.
There are 4 different kinds of souls, each for their own 'wave' in the vulcanus dungeon.
For the first wave in the vulcanus dungeon, you need to offer 20 Tiny souls.
For the second wave in the vulcanus dungeon, you need to offer 10 Dark souls.
For the third wave in the vulcanus dungeon, you need to offer 5 Large souls.
For the final wave in the vulcanus dungeon, you need to offer 1 Demon's soul.
Upon entering Vulcanus' lair, you will find yourself in a small dungeon filled with 6 monsters.
These monsters will be scaled towards your level-range. Each level range being 10 levels, *0 to *9.
Level 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 etc,
The minions in vulcanus ranging from level 3* to 10* dungeons are stronger than dungeon monsters of a similar level,
so be careful when visit Vulcanus' dungeon on these levels.
The plus side of visiting Vulcanus' dungeon during these levels is that the minions are not aggressive, so you can take them on slowly 1 by 1
Some of the more experienced and stronger players may seem this as a negative thing.
The monsters in the Vulcanus dungeon for level 11* and higher are agressive, but weaker than similar level dungeon monsters.
To face Vulcanus in the final wave, you must face at least 1 of each wave of his minions first.
When you have killed all 6 monsters in a Vulcanus floor, a red portal will show up, giving you 3 options to choose from.
The first option will allow you to do the same wave once more, this is for people hunting quest monsters, or people that have trouble facing higher waves.
There is a limit to the amount of times you can repeat the same wave,
you can then either choose to continue to the next wave with the second option, or leave the dungeon through the purple portal.
This because there are no dungeons available for level 114 to 120, and you will need to complete a 'full vulcanus run' quite often,
granting you a high amount of XP and getting you close to 120+.
These quests also reward you with 8 untradable stamina savers, and that's far from a bad reward!
There are quite a lot Vulcanus shrines placed in the Rappelz world.
They are marked on your map with a symbol.
There are a few I prefer myself, because they are either near Rondo (Where you get all the quests from) or close to a place you can teleport to.
These are:
You will start and finish all but 1 quest in this questline at the same NPC: Union member Colvin standing in the center of Rondo.
Often you can take 2 or 3 quests at the same time, it is suggested you complete both or all 3 before you return to Union member Colvin in Rondo.
Make sure you are not in a party when you do this.

- Level 30 or higher
- Roughly 10 million rupees worth of vulcanus souls:
- 200+ Tiny Souls
- 250+ Dark Souls
- 100+ Large Souls
- 30+ Demon's souls
Things worth noting:
- Completing all quests will get you 8 untradable stamina savers and the title 'Vulcanus Slayer'
- Is suggested to do at level 115-116 because of the lack of a dungeon at that level.

Some personal advice
From personal experience I would suggest waiting with doing all of the vulcanus quests until you are around level 115.This because there are no dungeons available for level 114 to 120, and you will need to complete a 'full vulcanus run' quite often,
granting you a high amount of XP and getting you close to 120+.

These are:
- Palmir Plateau (You can teleport near this place with the Palmir Plateau teleport from Rondo)
- Mourning Graveyard (You can teleport almost on top of the altar with the Mourning Graveyard teleport from Katan or Hidden Village)
- Marduka Waterfall (You can teleport near this place with the Waterfall teleport from City of Ruins)
- Wolha Cemetery (You can teleport near this place with the Wolha Cemetery teleport from Horizon or Hidden Village)
